The Apple Blosson's fought bard but Iost 6-2. The highlights of the game were the debut of goaltender Mike Howe and the defensive skills of' Jonathon Koerssen. The scor- ing opened with a big goal by Daniel Reilly assisted hy Mark Spiers and Jonathon Koerssen. The second Orono goal came from Paul Bridger wben be swooped in on the rigbt wing. December 1, 9 a.m., the start of the new montb; the team came out flying! Apple Blossom's vs Bowmanville Sport Shop. This was their best effort of the year and the fans loved it. The team had three things going for it, great goaltending. awcsome defense, and a lot of heart. Mike Flowe was the goal- tender. Orono continued the scor- ing barrage with goals by Jason Geraldi, assisted by Evan Moore at the 3:00 minute mark. The team was a lit- tle sleepy for the first two periods- falling behind 3-0 and outshot 8-0. Goalie Mitchell .Harding (5) was outstanding keeping Orono in the game. At 14:02 of the third peniod, Bowmanville scored again uping the score to 4-0 and putting the game out of reach (so it seemed). With only 7:08 remaining, Tanner Johnston (4) scored on a bard shot from the left side (assists: Kyle Geraldi (93), Noel Snow (5)» and Oronos engines, were started.
