It looked like it was golng to be a scary gaine when Oshawa scored fine seconds ito the first period. However, the Orono team came back wth a vengence wnning the gaine by a score of 6- 1. Scoring for Accessible Design were Curtis Robinson, assisted by Kyle Alun: Chris- Moffat, asslsted by Kevin Martin and Caruana; Paul Rchter, assisted by Caruana and Moffat; Robinson, assist- ed by Alli and Jef Mercier; Caruania assisted by Justin Szyrnczak. The rematch wth Oshawa LNHL took place on a freezing cold Saturday mornlng, January 18, 1997 at the Oshawa Clvic Centre. Orono Accessible Design were lIni- tially overwhelmed by the large Ice surface but over- camne their awe to take a 2-0 lead. Between penalties, Oshawa LNHL began to chlp away at Orono's lead, even- tually wlnnlng the game 4-2. The Minor Novice Teain now has a league record of 24 wins, one loss and four tdes. On January 14, DennIs Pizzeria faced the, Whitby Wldcats at Darlington Arena. Kýyle Goodchild got things started when he itercepted a pass i front of the Whitby goal and scored with 3:24 elapsed lI the gaine. Super passes froin Chad Deighton and Jason Sulyma allowed Kyle to add another with 30 seconds left in the perlod. The Wildcats hosted the Toros on January 19, hungiy to avenge the loss earlier i the week., The Toros' proved to be too strong opening a four goal lead before Whitby scored a minute into the third. Dennis Pizzeria were passing the puck weli and domlnated most of the gaine. Andrew Aibertini was award- ed a penalty shot late I the third period after being hauled down on a break- away.
