ElI-Rod Holdings is an architectural woodwork com- pany provid-ing custom woodl products to commercial clients in Canada and 'the United States. The ElI-Rod product line varies from shop finished board room tables and panelling, constructed of solid woods and veneers, to cabinets constructed of ply- wood with applied plastic laminates. The company and its sub- sidiary, Durham Custom Millwork Inc., employs 70 individuals. Ell-lRod Holdings Inc. is owvned equally by Rod Finney, Sandy Smith and Ken Harrison. The three princi- pals have active roles ti the company's operations. EII-Rod bas taken posses- sion as of May 12, and over the summer will complete building upgrades and reno- vations. CBC has spent some time in the community with their camera recording tbe opinions of Poli 161 voters and the program runs weekly until the election. It lias been noted that Poîl 161 has been a 'bellweather' poli for past elections and sbould give an indication on possible shifts in support for the five parties. %. Cemetery Gates closed after hours due to vandalism Dean Cox, caretaker at the Orono Cemetery has asked the Orono Times to inform their readers that the gates at the Orono Cemetery will be not be left open in the evenngs and weekends until furtherý notice. These steps are necessary due to the van- dalism which .occurred at the cemetery some time Friday night. One grave marker bad béïen tampered with and there are tire tracks, wbere they shouldn't be. The cemetery board will meet on May 26, at which timne they will address this situation. Mr. Cox said the gate clo- sure would be especially diffi- cuit for the eiderly wvho visit graves on the weekends. Weekend visîtors will now have to make the long trek from the main entrance on foot. Dr. M.K. Angi is', relocating his office Dr. M. K. Anigi, wbho has practiced in Orono for the past fourteen years, is advisîng bis patients that bis medical office is being relocated to the Oshawa Clinic, 117 King Street East, Oshawa.
