David -was always. out to Lodge, unless he was very sick and he took care of the Hall up until about 5 years ago. The word, Benevolent which is in our Lodge Titie Is what David was all about. 1P. Loweny REcb.jvCYCLE Mus eums bh A delîghtful bus trip *as enjoyed by a large group of Bowmanvllle and Orono folks on Saturday, October 4, from Bowmanville Museum. The trip was co-sponsored by Clarke and Bowmanville Museums, and we travelled to Niagar a on The Lake, where we enjoyed a deliclous noon luncheon, and before this a fun trip to a fine display of antiques etc. at the Red Barn Antique Mail. 0f course following this time, we eagerly looked for- ward to the highlight of our trip. The arrivai at the "Butterfly Conservatory". The crowds throughout the day were very large, due of course to the very excellent weather. The Conservatory Is of course a beehive of excite- ment and also very warm and molst. This of course the cor- rect atmosphere for butter- files and they were plentiful and oh! so colourful! The cameras were kept busy. Prior to entering the Conservatory, we were shown an excellent filin and follow- ing the crafts etc. We stopped at a fr-uit and vegetable stand, very large us trip and of course crowded, but we felt a bit pricey!. We would like to thank our two hosts Mn. Charles Taus, Bowmanville, or course our Clarke host Mr. Mark Jackman, who certainly gave excellent service plus our splendid bus driver. Those from Orono were Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schmid, Mr. and Mrs. 0. Challice , Mrs. Shirley Moffatt and Mrs. Thelma Vagg. Isabelle Challice RECYCLE A [itt1e_ exerdse can go a long way!
