L M~r~, f£o'rs0# "A Night for Music" by Isabelle Challice A large crowd of folks from far and near were in atten- dance at the Sunday evening Music Night November 15, beld in Orono United Cburch. Donna Scot ntroduced our guest for the evening - Rev. Dorian Baxter as (Elvis Priestley). Rev. Dorian appeared in black suite, white shirt and white collar. His first set tacluded: "Put your Hand in the Hand" accompanied by loud clapping of hands; next Dorian sang 'How Great Thou Art," "He Touched Me," and "In the Garden." A bit more lively was Elvis' old favourite "Doni't be Cruel" sung again to lots of clapping! Following a 15, minutes intermission, "Elvis" appeared in his sweil white suite, com- plete wth rblnestones! The guest reminïded us that "age" has its "debilitating" moments, when It comes to the livelier moments of music! - A lively menu of old rock type mu sic folowed, much to the audiences delight. A real old favourite "The Green Green Grass of Home," brought fond memnories to our guest, as well as for the audi- ence. Throughout the evening the spiritual aspects of Elvis' music were given out to us and again we were rerninded of Rev. Dorian's MLiistry and the Bible in our lives! Our guest, also a teacher, remiinded us of the "reat Dimension above, the real "Wonder of Love"~ and faily. On Monday an addendum to the original report was issued whére many of Mrs. Anderson's questions were addressed. The addendum con- cluded - If through continued use, the public feel they have a prescriptive right to use Mast Road to access the Ganaraska forest, this is a matter to be set- tled between the property own- ers and the users, possibly by litigation., Since il has -been established that the Municipality has no jurisdictioni over Mast Road, the malter of personal liabilily have led the Stapletons to close the road 10 public access.
