Also known as Unified Famlly Court, the Family Court provides Ontarians with better, more accessible and more responsive family law services. Fanilies, judges, lawyers, community agencies, advocacy groups and court staff have ahl termed the courts a success In the com- 'munities where they current- ly exlst. Local justice system stake- holders are very supportive of Family Court. Judges, lawyers, court staff and relat- ed agencies are active in the area of famlly law. The new Family Court will be located at 33 King Street West in Oshawa. This is the area's newvest court facility. It has courtrooms which have been unlquely deslgned for famllv law matters and will have ample space for media-, tion and other support ser- vices. clients of the Family Court will continue to be served by a Supervised Access Program which provides non-custodial parents with a neutral site to visit their children ln four c entres across Durham Region, inlu ding Pickering, Oshawa, Whitby, and Port Perry. In addition, there is a wlde range of established community-based services for families and children in Durham Reffion. The saint Nicholas Hotel is the secotid play in the cr-lU- cally acclaimed The Donne1ly@ Trilogy, though it stands weil by itse]lf Focusing on the murder of Mike Donne1ly, owner of the hotel, the play takes us backwards and forwards in time, show- ing us the roots of the hatred towards the Donnellys and the terrible tragedy it causes. Director Doug Craven is looklng for up to 17 actors to perform more than 25 parts. Four to six women 18 or older and eleven to thirteen men 18 or older wil be cast.
