The dignitaries were asked to retire. Brothier George Mickelson, District Deputy Grand Master, was introduced by Sister Coninie Hooey and welcomned by the Noble Grand. Sister Olive Mflson lntroduced our Sister Carole Boyd, District DepuLty, President of District No. 8 Oshawa E. Sister Carole was given the honours and pre- sented wlth the flowers from the Guard of Honour. The Installation of Officers then took place with all officers giv- ing their charges and the floor work done beautiful and the girls al Iooked nice with their whlte dres and blue sashes. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Sister Bertha reported she had sent out 3 sympathy cards. Sister Connie reported on the Humanitarian Service. ,We recelved a Certificate of Appreciation on behalf of the United Nations Pilgrimage for Youth Commnittee for supply- lnig and serving lunch to the students and escorts on the Pennsylvania Bus #9 in July. A letter from Sister Barbara Montgomery regard- ing -a Christinas Dinner for al mnembers of District #8 to be hld November 29, 1999 at 5:30 p.m. in Bowmanville Restaurant & Tavern. A bus took us to Cobourg on Tuesday, October 19th leavlng the hall at 6:30 p.m, Everyone was welcomed to corne and seeý this Installation. Sister Carole thanked the installing team for a job well done. Lodge closed accordlng, to the 'Ritual and the President's Candie Lightlng service was used to close the evening.
