The Clarke Township Museum and Archives has taken on it's new summer student, and for Suzanne Vandermale, it may only be her second day but she says, "it looks pretty good so far!" Suzanne, a second year ConEd student at Trent University, stumbled onto the job in a peculiar way. She applied for a secretarial position at General Motors, but was instead called for the job at Clarke Museum. Suzanne was pleased with the idea of working at the museum. Suzanne is quite sure she will be kept busy until her job finishes Labour Day, "I'm in charge of special events, promotion and marketing, ". Already on the list for this summer's events are historical walks, a booksale and flea market, an antique car show and an art show. Still more events are planned for later in the summer. Mark Jackman curator at the museum, hopes to expand museum activities, and is glad to have another worker. "Without a student to help out we just couldn't manage to run the summer events. Suzanne is vital to us this summer." said Jackman. Celio's Hal took a fourth and seventh place in an event that reached 2.19.1. Sundown Direct won both heats and is owned by B. Prest.
