Whereas it is known that certain dogs have been running at large through the Township within the past few weeks and that certain animalshaving been bitten by said dogs and the animals so bitten had to be destroyed owing to being affected by rabies; and whereas it is only right and proper for thé protection and safety of life and property that some action be taken to prevent as far as possible the spread of said disease which might or could arise from the biting of any dog or dogs which may have come into contact with any dog or dogs affected with rabies.
