Mr. and Mrs. Ross Ashton and Grant attended the McGill Picnic Sunday which was held at the Haydon Community Centre. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Blackburn Blackburn were lunch guests of Mr. and Mrs, Doug Blackburn and Wendy to celebrate Wendy's tenth birthday. Congratulations Congratulations and hope you had a lovely day. Mr. and Mrs. John Bertrim joined with his brothers and sisters and their families at a Family Picnic held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Urwin and family R. R. No. 1, Bowmanville on Sunday. Mrs. Kay Buttery and her mother Mrs. C. Sim of Bowmanville Bowmanville and Ann Plazek were visiting in Fenelon Falls on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gibson. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. W. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Campbell, Orono and Mr. Colin Nolt, Oshawa were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Kennedy, Nick and Brandee. Mrs. Val Lloyd, her father Mr. Donald Pickles and her daughters Sarah and Nicola were Wednesday lunch guests with Mrs. Chris Simon from Rochester who was visiting in Bowmanville. Wednesday evening Mrs. V. Lloyd, Mrs. Jan Mayer and Mrs. Beth Schryburt, Black- stock went to Peterborough Arbor Theatre to see Shakespeare's Shakespeare's Twelveth Night. Mr. and Mrs, Gary Riley and Tracey, Bowmanville were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Lloyd and girls and Mr. D. Pickles. Mr. Roy Paterson, Brian and Doug and Miss Madalena Mata spent Thursday through Sunday at Emily Park at Omemee. Mr. and Mrs. Art Trewin and Paul visited with Mr. and Mrs. Will Trewin, Oshawa on Sunday. The Trewins and Mrs. Dorie Christensen visited with Mr. and Mrs. J. Potts Saturday Saturday evening while Mr. L. Christensen attended a stag party in Oshawa for a nephew. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jones, Maureen and Heather, Port Colborne were Sunday supper guests of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Potts and John of Kincardine, Mr. Delbert Potts, Stephanie and Barbra, and Mr. Wayne McNulty, Calabogie, while holidaying, called on their parents for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Spry and Ashley, Toronto spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Potts and Mary drove to Malton airport Monday morning morning to bring Mrs, Linda Clark, Melanie and Randy, Edmonton, Alberta to the Potts home where a family supper was held including Mr. D.
