The bride and groom were married under the arch with the attendants witnessing the ceremony from different' levels on the altar. : Virginia Maude Tripp, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orman Tripp, Rednersville Road, R. R. 1, Carrying Place, (formerly of Bowmanville) was united in marriage to Jeffrey Earl Dulmage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dulmage, 30 Hill Street, Picton. The Reverend Hugh Munro officiated, assisted by Reverend Reverend Kelly Toth. The organist "was Jean McCoy, Corbyville, and the pianist Linda Pritchard, Pritchard, Toronto. The soloist was Linnette Richardson, Whitby, with a duet by David Hill and Earla Hill, Belleville. The Matron of Honour was Susan O'Coin, wearing a designer designer two piece gown of French taffeta in a vibrant shade of jade green. The bodice featured a low V-neck- line with tiny button front closure, fitted to the waist with hip peplum and large front centre bow, short puff sleeves with ruffle complemented complemented by a long A-line skirt with matching hat. Her bouquet bouquet was a garland centered with a hurricane lamp and lighted candle with matching flowers to the bride's bouquet. The bridesmaids were Kimm Smith, Elaine York, Cindy Tripp, sister-in-law of the bride, Jill Madill, cousin of the groom, Christine Boshart, Angela Carter, cousin of the groom, Rachael Crowe, cousin of the bride, and Tracey Redner. The bridesmaids wore gowns and carried identical identical bouquets to the Matron of Honour. The bride and groom left on their honeymoon wearing matching ultra suede suits in pearl grey accented with teal. They travelled on their two week vacation throughout Pennsylvania and Lake Placid. The soloist was Ernest Joanesse Jr., cousin of the groom. The master of ceremony was Mr. Ron McLean, accompanied by his wife Jean. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Ferguson, Bowmanville, and the groom's parents are Mr. Leo Michaud of Grand Falls, and the late Huguette Michaud. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was radiant in her formal white gown, the demurely high neckline set off by a Schiff embroidered yoke and seeci pearls. The church was beautifully decorated in pink and white to accent the bridesmaids' dresses of pink and the matron of honour who was wearing daphine rose. The best man and ushers were stunning in their oxford grey tuxedos with striped trousers. The groom wore the matching grey cutaway. The bride, given in marriage marriage by her parents, John and Grace McKinnon, wore a lovely white polyester organza gown with a high neckline set off by a cameo pearl yoke. A stag was held for the groom where he received a purse of money. John Harness played the bag pipes as the bride and groom and the wedding party left the church. A matching lace and pearl head- piece held a fingertip veil with scalloped edges and she carried a bouquet of red roses, stephanotis and baby's breath. The maid of honor was Miss Florence Heidinga and the bridesmaids were Trudy Wesselius and Corrine Boekee, sister of the groom. They wore gowns of burgundy organza over taffeta and carried bouquets of white lilies, stephanotis and lily of the valley. Best man was Jake Boekee, twin brother of the groom and the ushers were Lloyd Devries, brother of the bride and George Sikma. The groom and his attendants were dressed alike in grey tuxedos, white shirts and matching bow ties. The groom's boutonniere was a red rose and baby's breath, and the attendants, a white carnation.
