On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Souch attended the 40th wedding anniversary party and dance in honour of their cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Mairs of Nestlelon, and held at the Nestlelon Community Centre. Church services and Sunday school were held at Shiloh United on Sunday but attendance attendance was smaller than usual due to the snowy roads. Mr. Andy Murphy and Mary, Bowmanville visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. John Murphy. Sympathy of the community to Mr. and Mrs. Jack McKay and family on the death of his mother, Mrs. Roy McKay of Oakville on Sunday morning. Mrs. McKay was the former Gladys Brown who lived her girlhood years in Starkville. The funeral will be held on Wednesday afternoon in Oakville.
