Will Trewin and friend from Oshawa were callers at the Trewin home on Tuesday too. On Friday, Miss Joy and Mr. Charles Loveridge, Tyrone and Mr. and Mrs. Will Trewin, Oshawa were guests of the family birthday celebrations for Paul Trewin. Congratulations Paul, may you have many more birthday get-to-gethers. Mr. and Mrs. John Adams were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Adams and family, Blackstock and helped Ernie and Liz celebrate their sixteenth wedding anniversary on Friday. After spending some time on Saturday at the Stouffville sale, John and Diane Adams entertained her sister Miss Carol Lott and Mr. Bob Lowery, Toronto and a friend Mr. Jack Dubson from Vancouver, who has been calling on former friends before heading back home. The Adams family enjoyed watching their favourite hockey team "Oshawa, Generals" at the Civic Auditorium on Sunday, t winning their 10th in a row. Then they visited with Mrs. Joyce Selleck and family of Oshawa. Mr. and Mrs. Weir Swain were pleased to have old friends from Toronto call on ■ them on Sunday afternoon in the persons of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Whitehead and Mrs. Bernice Collins. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn and Wendy visited with Lome and Marion Fisk of Newcastle on Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Graham, Newcastle, were Sunday dinner guests with Fred and Sybil Smith. Mr. and Mrs. John Bertrim attended the fortieth Wedding Anniversary of their Aunt and Uncle Mr. and Mrs. Willard Bertrim of Crowe Lake that was held near Kingston and Eileen visited with Aunt Evelyn - Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bertrim on Saturday evening. Bowmanville's 5th Wheel Truck Stop Major Bantams were a proud bunch when they returned last weekend from a tournament in Thornton with the championship trophy. The week before they won the Consolation award at Little Britain.
