Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Staple- ton visited Mr. and Mrs. Fred Henderson, Saturday evening. A skip-a-thon was held at the school on the 15th of May for a two-hour period to raise money towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Grades 3, 4,5 and 6 pupils took part and raised $1,500 through pledges. Burger King donated drinks and several mothers and teachers assisted. Congratulations Congratulations to the 40 children who took part. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Elliott visited Miss Catherine Stewart of Kendal on Sunday afternoon. The U.C. Women held their monthly meeting last Wednesday Wednesday evening. in the Sunday School room. Better lighting in the Sunday School was discussed, also new drapes to be ordered for the windows. The Bazaar to be held on October 26th (Saturday) and a bus trip to the Kitchener District on the 28th of September.
