The organist organist was Mrs.Pat Prout, and the soloist, Mr. Mike Healy. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper, Brace- bridge and the groom's father is Mr. Martin Molloy. Given in Marriage by her father, the bride was lovely in her formal wedding gown of white silk organza bordered with Chantilly lace along the full skirt and cathedral length train. The Bishop sleeves were of matching lace as was the fitted bodice with narrow neckline. A headpiece of lace and pearls held her two tiered appliqued finger tip veil and she carried a bouquet of silk mauve and violet assorted wild flowers arranged artistically artistically on a white wicker fan. The matron of honor was Barbara Andrews and the bridesmaids were Kell Picton, Beverly Dayes and Tracey Thomson, Best man was Vincent Molly and the ushers were Don and David Howarth and David Hodgson. The mother of the bride received the guests at a reception reception held at the Lions Centre, Centre, Bowmanville in a cocktail length taupe crepe gown with a corsage of peach silk roses and tiny beige forget me nots. Leaving for a honeymoon in Florida, the bride wore a yellow yellow dress. Mr. and Mrs. Molloy are now residing in Whitby, McRobbie Photo James Senators Open Season James Publishing Lobb Ball Club opened their Durham Men's Slow-pitch league play on Wednesday, May 29th against Local 463 Bears on a losing note by the score of 9-6. In their first game the Senators' Senators' fielding was its usual solid point, but the awesome bats were obviously left at home. Good try, guys! In the second league game against the Brew Jays, the Senators' bats were well and alive, especially in the fourth inning when they scored nine (9) runs (7 with 0 out). The team was lead by player-coach Paul Gordon who hit a torrid .1000 which included two triples, one double and 2-run home-run in the 7th inning with two (2) out to tie the game at 16. The game ended on a judgement judgement call by the umpire with the score 17-16 in favor of the Brew Jays. Honorable mention mention goes to pitcher Bun Hogan for two strong games on the mound. Senators' third base- man, Dave Holmes, had to leave the game in the fifth inning when hit by a line drive in the upper arm. Hang in there, Dave.
