Competition this week, in University University of Windsor. Dear Allan and Grace: Today is a very special day for us at St. Saviour's. There are very mixed feelings among among us at this time. Feelings of sadness about losing you both from our community and also feelings of happiness and hopefulness that you may get a much needed rest and enjoyable enjoyable retirement. We wish to honour you both for your faithful service to our church. Allan, you have led us spiritually spiritually for the past eight years or so. We know this was quite a challenge at times because we seem to be a different breed of people when we do things. Many things have been accomplished since you came here, mainly our new parish hall. What an asset this hall has been to our church and we certainly appreciate your special special effort and time taken to record each of the stages with your pictures. Many fun events also come to mind. Do you remember our take off on the show Laugh In when we made you carry all those crazv siens? You willingly took part in many local parades, in costume costume along with our church school. We will also remember your slightly, lengthy sermons and wonder how many tongue lashings you received from Grace on the way to St. Georges Georges for running overtime. We will miss your friendly smile and quiet, co-operative manner. Grace, we owe you a great big thank you for tasks too numerous to mention. Among these were your talent and hard work at the organ, preparing preparing and making up newsletters, newsletters, church leaflets, and choosing suitable hymns for the services. It must have been frustrating to try to keep everyone happy. You also took much time and research to prepare our 100th Anniversary Anniversary booklet and we are most grateful for a job well done. . On behalf of St. Saviours congregation we wish both of you much happiness, health and a long retirement, Perhaps Perhaps you will find time to conic back and join us occasionally occasionally in our church and our homes. I'm sure everyone would join me in saying that you have been good and faithful servants and hope you will accept these gifts along with our love and prayers for a long and happy retirement. Gifts presented by-Gil Wood for church servers, Leaimc Johnson for yotilh group, Sandra Sandra Anderson for A.C.W., Steven Steven Johnson gave plaque from congregation and Lori Worn! gave flowers lo Mrs, Haldenby.
