Michael Connors received received 119 votes to become , the separate school representative representative on the Durham Board of Education. Neil McCarthy received 67. In the area council seat, Harvey Graham defeated Tom Vanderende 3963 votes to 935. Ward Two's race saw Howard Hall defeat Roy Grierson 1086 to 548. On Scugog Island, incumbent incumbent Don Cochrane defeated defeated two challengers. Cochrane polled 319, compared compared to 214 for Randy Scott and 171 for Brad Heintzman.
