The ladies arrived before lunch, about a dozen. Those who couldn't ouilt prepared the pot luck dinner, and others quilted. A short business period was held. Minutes read, etc. Our district annual will be May 14 at Bailieboro. The speaker speaker for the afternoon is Jen Lovekin, lady constable who will speak on Safety. Mrs. Lewko came home on Tuesday and has home care for the time being. Mr. J. Sevenhuysen was expected home but due to fog and bad weather won't be home for this week but will arrive later. It being the holidays, many families are going on vacation, Mrs. Sevenhuysen Sr. Toronto was at Fowler's on Sunday to take Cheyenna home for a holiday. Nancy brought the girls to meet her. Nancy has to work at the hospital tonight so was unable to go to Toronto. Suzanne and Béryl and Elmer Fowler were here on Friday planning the coming sale May 26. Mrs. Lewko had Ona Gardiner and Geraldine Smith call on Friday and Edith Carruthers called on Saturday. Reverend Sedgwick Sedgwick called on Sunday. It seems as if every other family has gone on trips for the March break.
