Celebrating 80 years of Guiding in Canada, girls from all over Ontario visited Edmonton, Jasper, Banff, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. While visiting new areas for the first time, the girls found themselves, in the role of ambassadors for their own corners of the country. President President Wilma Kantor called the meeting to order - we sang the Institute Ode and Wilma read a poem "Better to Love." Roll call was "Bring a game." It was decided to make a donation of $25 to Denise, House for battered women, also to send a $25 donation to Erland Lee Museum to have Marian Lewis' name S ut in the Book of Rebem- rance-In Memoriam. We spent some time in deciding which articles (made by our members) to put in our display display at Orno Fair. The motto "The human- mind should be like a hotel, open all year round" was given by Wilma. Marg. Hall gave the Consumer's Report. "Food No-No's you can say Yes To." Mar had a contest to see how many words we could make out of "Hampton Institute." Michelle won with 63 words. Muriel Burrows Burrows thanked Marg for once more having the September meeting at her cottage We closed by repeating the Lord's Prayer. Marg served us a cold drink before we departed for home.
