Brenda Jean Leddy 111 for 11 years and three months, Brenda Jean Leddy died in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville, on Thursday, October 11,1990, at the age of 51. Born in Bowmanville, and educated in Bowman- .ville, Durham College and Ryerson, she was the daughter daughter of the late Joe and ms Cooper. On November 26, 1955, she was married to Patrick Joseph Leddy. A resident of Maple Grove for nine years, and Church Street, Bowmanville, Bowmanville, for six years, she had resided the past 20 years at 37 Wellington Street in Bowmanville. An R.NA., she had been employed as a supervisor for 14 years at Durham Centre, Whitby. She was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Catholic Church, the 'Girls Club,' Wing Group,' and was active active in Community Care. Left to mourn her passing passing are her husband Patrick Joseph, children Dan and wife Penny, Douglas and his wife Tara, Shelly and her husband John Welsh, Jerry and his wife Jody, Mickey and her husband Ralph Cry- ildre derm an, 10 grandchildren, a sister Myra and her husband husband Glen Hopps and a brother Gregory and his wife Lorraine. In relation to pesticides , Health and Welfare Canada determines if a pesticide residue residue may be present, and if so, at what quantity and in which foods. An acceptable daily intake is determined for each individual compound compound which can be ingested daily, for a lifetime, without appreciable risk to humans. Monitoring for pesticide residues is conducted by a number of federal departments departments including Agriculture, Agriculture, Fisheries and Oceans, Health and Welfare, and the Canadian Grain Commission.
