Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a formal formal gown of white satin adorned with beaded lace appliques. Goodyear Gals Hold Reunion The 1990 Goodyear Girls Reunion was held on Monday, Monday, Nov. 5th at the Memorial Memorial Park Clubhouse with 59 ladies in attendance. On arrival, each lady was presented with a lovely corsage corsage provided by Gooayeâr., The evening began with a social time from 6 to. 6:30, followed by a delicious roast beef dinner prepared and served by the Memorial Park Association. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed entertainment provided provided by a very talented Bowmanville Bowmanville musician, Ken Brignall, who sang, played his guitar and told a few jokes. A committee was then chosen to arrange the 1991 Reunion. Peacock had a family gathering the night before Andrew and Ingrid left for home. The four boys and their wives attended, plus Mr. and Mrs. Alan Peacock and their four grandchildren. grandchildren. Ron Mercer and some friends returned home from their usual moose hunting triji last week. Mrs. Irene Beatty and Mary Trew are staying with Mrs. Walker while Mac is away. McAllister McAllister returned from a week's trip in the United States last week. Church services were held as usual. Betty Taylor played the organ in the absence absence of Mrs. Cruse. Rev. Sedgwick spoke to the children children on'the rules, Love your Lord God as yourself, Love your neighbour as yourself. The choir sang. Scriptures from Ruth and Matthew were read and Reverend Sedgwick's sermon dealt with the rules of living as outlined in the Bible. The offering offering was taken up by Mr. Taylor and Mr. J. Peacock. Coffee was served at the close. A tractor trailer upset and dumped a load of corn on the four corners at Tom's Garage, Garden Hill, on Monday. Seniors Golden Age Club had a good crowd and are planning to go to Cullen Gardens later this month. Mr. and Mrs. J. Peacock had Shane and Sophia, Toronto, Toronto, Steven, Christy and Aaron for the week-end. Beryl Dekoker, Suzanne and Joyce visited with me this week. Mr. and Mrs. K. Trew called on Alan and family and also were with Bill, Sharon and family at Baltimore. Baltimore. Mae Muldrew had her daughter Dorothy with her on Sunday and they visited with Mrs. Prouse, Noreen and Charley. On Saturday, Mae also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Morris.
