Parts of the ceiling's plaster plaster came loose and the church was filled with dust. Mr. Walcer said that the falling panel landed in the left front comer of the auditorium, auditorium, near the pulpit. It struck some railings near the choir pews and also hit the back of the piano and an overhead projector He said the congregation isn't sure of the amount of damage or the repairs which will be required. An architect architect is, however, looking at the remaining panels and will report on whether or not they must be replaced. Mr. Walcer estimates that there are about 46 of the roof panels in the building. Repairs are also expected to include cleaning the organ organ which has been damaged damaged from the dust that was created in the "mishap. Although .no one knows exactly. when., the ceiling panels were " installed, it would appear»:, as though they were in place 60 or 70 years ago, covering a plaster ceiling which had previously been visible, i Mr. Walcer said the original original square nails and wooden strips used to fasten the panels to the ceiling were, in his opinion, not sufficient. "Upon looking at it more closely, one can see it was a bit of a miracle how they were even held up there all this time." he said. Mr. Walcer explained that the church's Official Board will make the final recommendations on repairs to the ceiling, once they have considered the architect's architect's recommendations.
