He then proceeded to total their parked van and ended up across the street in the front of the church. Thank goodness goodness no one was seriously injured. injured. Only in Hampton eh! The Hampton Community Community Association held a Public meeting on Tuesday evening. evening. Henry Kortekocas did a fine job on the drawing of Concept D. This provided much of the needs of the , community. It featured a full size soccer field, the passive passive area of benches, flowers, flowers, shuffle board for the seniors in the entrance way off of Scugog. The entrance off of Mill St. contained the much needed parking lot and a building which could be used for storage etc. The playground would be situated situated in the south west comer of the park. A barrier of some type would have to be put up as the play area would only be a few feet from the soccer field. The things to keep in mind about this concept is that the seniors seniors area would be segregated segregated from the playground. Also, the play area would not be that visible from the road or any houses which could cause a problem with the safety of the children and the possibility of increased increased vandalism. On September 4th from 7-9 p.m . all the drawings will be available for viewing at the Hampton Town Hall. You may make a written comment at this time. The Parks Policy Committee will make its recommendations to council in late September. This committee is made up of two councillors, the Mayor, Mayor, Marie Hubbard and three private citizens. At this time I would like to thank the councillors and Henry for their help and the support they have given Hampton and the concerned residents who took the time to answer the survey and come out to the meetings. The Hampton Pee Wee Girls played a tough game of balk against the Orono "C" team last Wednesday. Ran- ny Cannito hit a home run for the Hampton team. The final score, 13-8 for Orono. Four home runs were hit in total by Jessica Powell, Tracey Tracey Vangihoven, Amanda Speelman and Randy Cannito. Cannito. The final score 32-15 for Hampton. A special thanks is extended extended to 'all the parents who showed up to support the girls in Both games.
