I didn't attempt two days trips and was only at the funeral on Thursday. We wish to thank everyone for their kindness and sympathies extended to us. Seniors had a small crowd out for their meeting on Thursday. Clarence and Betty Mercer visited Betty's sister Elizabeth Minnisin, Oshawa, who has been in the hospital for a time and got home recently. Jackson and Susan Peacock had Andrew and Ingrid, Liam, Adrian and Astrid all week and they have left for home in Newfoundland, all except Liam and Adrian, who are staying for more holidays. Mark and Linda and boys, Steven and Christy, also Ingrid's parents Mr. and Mrs. Allen, Ottawa, visited this week before before they left for Newfoundland. On Friday Eric Bums and Micky Dewhurst connected with the Show at Cavan that is being put on at present.
