6 The Clarington/Courlice Independent, Bowman ville, Saturday, December 30, 1995 Dennis Pizzeria Toros Continue to Improve The Dennis Pizzeria Minor Novice Toros played two games on December 10 and 13 and managed to win on and almost almost lake the other. The boys continue to play competitive hockey and are showing improvement improvement each and every game. The first game, on December December 10, took the Toros to Richmond Richmond Hill. The two teams had met previously in tournament play and both games had been tough ones. The Toros blew out of the gates with five first period goals to welcome the home side. Jordan Gross opened the scoring on assists from Ian Garrison and Brad Farrow. David Perron notched the second Toros goal, assisted by Tyler.,Ferguson.. ..just before Gross added his second goal on an assist from Garrison. Jeff Nieuwenhuis scored the fourth goal on an assist by Corey Bradbum, and Gross finished the period with his third goal with help from Garrison Garrison and Chris Boyce.
