Program includes the music of Strauss, Lehar, Leonard Bernstein, Richard Rodgers, Cole Porter, and Frederick Loewe, among many others. MUSEUM DAY -- Admission to the Bowmanvillc Museum and the Clarke Museum and Archives will be free on Saturday, May 18th to mark international Museum Day. The 18th day of May each year is recognized by the United Nations as a special special day to celebrate the work museums do to preserve the past. In addition to free admission, the Clarke Museum will be presenting presenting heritage demonstrations of candle-making and butter churning between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. MONDAY, MAY 20 VICTORIA DAY FIREWORKS -- Over 80,000 tulips and hundreds of pansies at Cullen Gardens in Whitby arc expected expected to reach their peak over the Victoria Day weekend. The park will also be bursting with color after dark with Victoria Day fireworks display, May 20th, from 8:30 p.m to 9:00 p.m. Prior to the fireworks the Modem Renaissance Quartet will be strolling around the gardens entertaining.
