ALLDRED Robin Trewin The death of Robin Trewin Alldred, age 86, occurred on Sunday, September 15,1996 at Oshawa General Hospital. Robin was born in Redvers, Saskatchewan Saskatchewan on April 6,1910 and was the fourth son of eight child ren, born to Henry and Annie Alldred. He was educated and worked in southern Sas- katchèwan through his adolescence. adolescence. Robin traveled to Ontario Ontario in 1935 where four younger sisters and brothers, plus aunts and uncles had settled in the Oshawa, Bowmanville and Newcastle Newcastle area. He married Myrtle Allin on January 1, 1938. They farmed on the Lakeshore, R.R.#3, Newcastle, for 39 years before moving into the village of Newcastle in 1977, with their most recent residence being 46 Robert St. East. Robin was a devoted devoted husband and father, grandfather, and great-grandfather great-grandfather who enjoyed a very healthy retirement. He was involved involved in many senior citizen functions, euchre parties and sporting events throughout the area. Surviving are his wife .Myrtle, daughter Lois and her husband Doug Rowe, son Bruce and his wife Nancy-Jane, plus five grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. greatgrandchild. Funeral -services were held Wednesday, September September 18th at the Morris Funeral Funeral Chapel with Rev. Donald Stiles officiating.
