Most of the speeches made reference to Canada as a wonderful country with rich traditions in our history. It is a contradiction to say in our speeches that we embrace our traditions yet in the next breath explain that we must pick and choose our symbols symbols of traditions. I find it unacceptable unacceptable to dismiss the Queen as our sovereign head of state. This is part of our history. history. I recognize that there are many different languages, cultures cultures and customs that make up Canada today. We must be tolerant tolerant and accepting of each other while retaining our wonderful wonderful heritage. With national unity and other challenges in Canada, we need strong leadership leadership and patience.
