Doctors, as a profession have a monopoly in the delivery of health care. The real situation is that we have a publicly funded health care system delivered delivered in a free enterprise private private practice world. Every province in Canada has hit the wall on the cost of health care. Many provinces have introduced controls to limit billing, or limit the number number of physicians in certain areas areas to control the number of patients patients per doctor.
