In their first game of the tournament, the Harrison Fuels squad came out flat and never really mounted any attack, as a hungry Barrie team capitalized on their chances, winning 2-0. Game two began much like the previous night as Orangeville Orangeville jumped out to an early 2-0 lead. Orangeville held the lead until the ten minute mark of the third when the Toros began to come to life. Diligent fore- checking had the Orangeville defencemen in a frenzy and by the two minute mark the Toros had knotted the game at 2-2.
