Absent was Kristen Perry (6th freeskate, 7th elements). Square Boy Pizza Toros Take 'A' Trophy in Tourney Game one was a hard fought 4-3 victory against a stubborn team from Orangeville. The game featured two goal performances performances by Brian Corcoran and Ian Garrison. Assisting on the goals were Jordan Gross (2), Derek Vanschyndel, Corey Bradbum and Brad Farrow. The Toros came out flying, and at the 1:44 mark of O.T., Ian Garrison scored from Chris Boyce to send the Square Boy team to the finals. Garrison led the way with three goals and an assist. Jordan Gross scored the other Toros' goal and added added two helpers. Brett Barraball continued his strong play with two assists. If the boys thought a visit to the finals would be easy, the Belleville Bobcats, who supplied supplied the opposition, sure changed their minds as this was a war from the opening faceoff to the third sudden death O.T. period. At the 1:40 mark of the third ' O.T., Brian Corcoran was able to beat the Cats goalie on a pass from Ian Garrison. Garrison Garrison had scored earlier to tie the game and force overtime.
