The bride's attendants were Tracy Reynolds of B. C„ Lori Laughlan of B.C., Leah Cook, Hampton sisters of the bride. Groomsmen were Neil Walker, West Hill, brothers-in-law, Bill Trapper and Steve Schneider, Pickering; nephew Calvin Trapper was ringbearer. The couple honeymooned in St. Martaan W.I. and now reside reside in Pickering. Their parents are John and Audrey Cook, Hampton, Gary and Carol Grant of West Hill. Elizabethville News by Edna Thickson United Church Women's Christmas dinner was held at Susan Peacocks home on Tuesday Tuesday the 10th. Eight attended. After the dinner we had a meeting. Also we sang some songs with Betty's assistance on the piano. Bertha closed the meeting in the usual way. On Thursday the Seniors had their meeting. There were not so many out as last week. Carols Carols were played as usual. Instead of the usual Church service, Garden Hill held the Garden Hill Children's Christmas Christmas Concert and White Gift services along with lighting another another Advent candle. Reverend Sedgwick conducted the usual call to worship etc. The choir sang several anthems. The first was Still, Still, Still, accompanied accompanied by Flute Soloist Karen Harris. The children's minute was with Reverend Sedgwick. The children had a hymn for us entitled "Hope Is A Star." The Sunday school had several members and little Angie Bailey Bailey sang a solo. They also had responsive readings. The offering hymn was "All Poor Men and Humble". Sunday Sunday School sang "Mary Had A Baby". A delicate lunch was served and everyone enjoyed the Christmas service. At seven o'clock last night the Elizabethville Christmas Concert was held as I was unable unable to go I will leave it for another another week's news. The happy couple honeymooned in British Columbia and accepted a transfer from Sault Ste. Marie to Vancouver effective December first.
