The pickups are bi-fuel natural gas vehicles, with automatic switchover to gasoline. They will be certified as "Low Emission Vehicles" on natural gas and will provide both operational and environmental advantages, including including emission reduction and lower fuel costs. The vehicles will be available in the 1997 calendar year to fleet and commercial customers, initially in southern British Columbia and central Ontario with increased sales opportunities opportunities as availability and demand develops.
