In Millbrook, the players Sports Exchanqe Champs in Ennismore The Clarington Additional entry Novice team, sponsored sponsored by All Canadian Sports Exchange, travelled to Ennismore over the March Break to participate in their Annual Tournament and came home as "A" Tournament Champions. Jordan Beaudrie led the Toros with three goals and one assist, Tyler Beers and Michael Munce each had two goals and two assists, with singles by Nathan Murphy, Matthew Parker, Bobby Sanders and Derek McCron. Brown (1), Brad Perry (1), Kyle Smith (1), Michael Oliver (2), Michael Minion (1) and Perry Ferguson (1). The second game was against Bowmanville Non- Contact, and again T-Mac was successful, winning the game 3-2. B.J. Brown (2) and Michael Oliver scored with assists earned by Jordan MacPherson, Billy Knapp, Thomas Williams, Jordan Jacket! and Michael Brabender. The final game for the "A" Championship was against the only other undefeated team, Crow's Sports. This was by far the best game of the tournament. Though Crow's scored an early goal, T-Mac continued to press and B.J. Brown scored, assisted by Matthew James and Jordan MacPherson; then Billy Knapp, from Brent Burry and Michael Brabender; and Brad Perry added a third goal. Crow's certainly weren't going to let T-Mac's efforts go unchecked, and they responded with two quick goals. T-Mac never let up and through superb teamwork and excellent passing added three more goals to their total to beat Crow's 6-3 and win the championship. B.J. Brown added two more goals to his total, assisted both times by Matthew James and Jordan MacPherson, while Jordan MacPherson, assisted by B.J., added the last goal. Jonathan Aggerholm gave a stellar performance performance in net. B.J. Brown was named the MVP for the tournament. Later in the week, T-Mac travelled to Beaverton. Their first game was against a team from Bradford. With goals by Mike Oliver (1), Kyle Smith (1) , Michael Brabender (1), and B.J. Brown (2), and assists by Jordan MacPherson (2) , Matt James (2), Mike Oliver (2), Thomas Williams (1), Perry Ferguson, T-Mac won the game 5-2. The second game was against Georgetown, probably probably the most disciplined team of the tournament. T-Mac won with a score of 4-1 with B.J. Brown leading off the scoring and earning a hat- trick, and Mike Oliver notched a goal, Assists went to Brad Perry, Jordan MacPherson, Thomas Williams and two for Michael Brabender. The final game of the day, for the "A" Championship, - was against a team from Barrie. Though T-Mac out- shot the Barrie team 25 to 10, they came away on the short end of the scoring, losing the game 4-1. Unfortunately, one goal for T-Mac was disallowed. disallowed.
