His car was deemed to be the best design at the competition which included about 60 finalists from local Cub Packs. With Dave is Justin Avery, also a member of the First Hampton Cubs. Region Wants Full Partnership In Infrastructure Program Durham Region councillors are taking exception to the provincial government's request for a final say on municipal and regional infrastructure infrastructure projects. Ajax Mayor Steve Parish told councillors during the Wednesday morning, April 23, Council meeting, "we paid our fair share in the last program and we want to be a full partner in the next program." He noted that "in a few weeks' time, we'll be past the tendering season. Oshawa Regional Councillor Brian Nicholson stated he wants to know what guidelines the province would be following if it decided to leave the municipality out of the final decision-making. "I don't like Big Brother trying to tell us what our priorities-should be," he said. He alluded to the possibility that maybe some people with the provincial government thought some of the projects by some municipalities municipalities were inappropriate.
