Wilfred Harbin, campaign director. BEDDING NEEDED FOR FLOOD VICTIMS -- The Salvation Army is urging citizens of Clarington to donate linen, bedding and pillows to the Manitoba flood relief effort. All of these items (including sleeping bags) are urgently needed. They can be dropped off at the Salvation Army Thrift Store or the Fire Hall this weekend. A truck donated by Canadian Tire will transport the bedding to Manitoba on Tuesday. Donors are reminded that the need at this time is for bedding and not for clothing.
