Joey Janveaux scored the winning goal on a pass from brother David Janveaux. Scott Dwinnell had two goals while Tyrone Vanson had the other for T-Mac who were down 2-1 after the first period. T-Mac opened the tournament winning 5-2 over Newmarket. Eric Bonazza and Dwinnell scored two goals each with J. Janveaux Janveaux scoring on a penalty shot. The two victories were one-sided affairs, an 11-0 shutout against Pe terborough and a 7-1 decision over Whitby. Leading the offence in the two games were Matt Gore (3-5), Matt MacFarlane (2-6), Eric Devera (5-1), Brady Burns (3g), Garrett Scattcrty (1-2), Justin Bowles (1-2), Brett Chapman (3a), Chris Rivest (2g), Steven Piggolt (1-1), Tyler Neil (2a), Mark Vandermcer (la). THREE CLOSE LOSSES FOR BATHE & MCLELLAN - The Bathe & McLellan minor peewee Triple A Toros lost three close games against the league's elite teams in recent play. David Ross managed the lone Toro marker assisted by Stephan Bathe in a 4-1 loss to York Simcoc Express. In Whitby, Clarington ran out of time in a 4-3 loss. The Toros were led by Bathe and Chris Jukic who scored one each and added an assist, while Ross had the other goal. Tim Lew recorded an assist. assist. The Toros fell behind 4-1 in the second period before battling back to make the game close. Against Richmond Hill, the home team jumped out to an early lead for a 4-2 win over the Toros.
