Tanfblyn lias purchased an, -electric fence arid is well pleased with the results; The fence -Consists- of one single strand of barbed wire and is charged-by a, -small battery. To erect the foncé s-takes are driven into the ground - with the strand placed about two- an da half feel frlom the ground, and can easily be moved, to any part of the farm that he may Wish to use for pasture land, by pull- ing up the stakes. After the . fence was in operation Mr. Tamblyn watch- ed the stock to see whip they would do. Some rubbed against it and were given a shock, then they would go back again and . sniff the fence and would receive another shock and soon (hey left a good distance between â- them and the fence. He said that you could put it up again-s-t .an oat field and the cattle or horses would not go near .enough to eat the oats, Mr. Tamblyn i-s- the first one -around he-re to- purchase this new and easily erect- ed fence, which was purchased from the Wood’s Electric Co, This- seems to solve the fence problem, for the farmers-.
