Among the wedding guests from a distance were the groom's brother, Mr. and Mrs. John Trafford and infant daughter, Jennifer, from Baden, Germany: Friends and relatives honoured honoured Ellen, prior to her marriage, marriage, with several bounteous showers; and a trousseau tea was also held in her honour at the home of her parents. The happy young couple are presently residing in Picton, where Eilen is a member of the teaching staff of Prince Edward County District High School, while Richard is completing his final year a Queen's Law School.
