The 200 books will arrive at the school library this week. These books will be adult books and are placed in the school on a rotating basis. The collection may be increased depending on the success of the venture and the acceptance acceptance and use by those in the community. Mr. Richardson, commissioner, commissioner, stated that the regional regional basis of sharing costs would be more equitable as far as the various municipalities are concerned. He pointed out that such was the case with solid waste and regional roads The water and sewer proposal proposal is another kettle of fish as far as Oshawa is concerned. concerned. It was felt however if capital costs were also included included in with the operation it could be given consideration by Oshawa. On Thursday Mayor Potti- cary of Oshawa stated that Oshawa would lose $2.3 million million under a regional water and sewer rate in addition to >1.5 million which the city now mlds as a reserve fund.
