When Mosport làcked teams teams from FICA, they were forced to cancel the race for this year, scheduled for Sept. 21. The FICA boycotted the race because in agreeing to financial terms for the Grand Prix race, Mosport missed the deadline. The attachment order and the court case are Mosport last hope of regaining their $131,000, which was used to promote Canada's Grand Prix race. Mosport's track president, Harvey Hudes indicated that the asking price of $400,000 to run the race was too high. When both parties reach court, Mosport is expected to argue that the FICA asked for more money, therefore breaking breaking their agreement. Spokesman for FICA, Ber- nie Eccelstone, stated that no such agreement was ever made. The case will be tried in New York State. ■ DXSERVICE STATION* ages 14 to, 17 years.
