Plans for the Little Ex, an up dated version of the former Oshawa Home Show, are well in hand according to show organisers. Purchased late last year by a group of local businessmen, The Little Ex, a three day exposition of ideas relating to the home, craft and leisure scene, will be held at the Oshawa Civic Auditorium April 23rd, 24th and 25th. President John Muha said 'when we took the show over it was felt that a new name would be in order to reflect the much wider range of the exhibition this year. The old name did seem to indicate and Oshawa boundary. But there are many more people , resident in the area surrounding surrounding Oshawa. We feel that the show will appeal to that segment of the population as well as Oshawa, as it is, intended to reflect the Durham Durham region as a whole rather than just a portion of it'. , Mqha went on to say 'there is no question that The Little Ex is appreciably more diversified than it has been in the past. There will be more exhibitors, over 100 in fact, from a wider area, and the entertainment will be of an extremely high calibre'. A1 Spencer, general manager manager of The Little Ex, indicated that the organisers were very happy to have arranged for six special . appearances by The Winston- ettes, Canada's top ranked womens gymnastic team. Spencer said 'Three of the team have already been chosen to represent Canada at the '76 Olympics, with one other member trying for the final spot on the team'. Coached by Marilyn Savage, Savage, Canadian Olympic Team coach in 1968 and 1972, The Winstonettes will perforai their exhibition programme at the McDonald Ford Booth.
