Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Tam- blyn of Orono were both anoured on Wednesday evening evening of last week at the annual banquet of the Dur ham Central Agricultural Society held in the basement of the Orono United Church. Carlos was presented with an Award of Merit for his many years of service to the organization and the promotion promotion of the annual fair in Orono. Mrs. Tamblyn was presented with a bouquet of red roses in recognition of her active part in the association. He has undergone plastic surgery to his nose with further plastic surgery to be done over his eye. He also suffers from a broken jaw and other facial injuries.
