Clarke High School ELECTIONS By Jo-Anne Danilko On Friday , May 21 elections for next year's students council executives were held.' For the president's position, Greg Winterhelt ran against Ted Brady and, Kevin Malik who ran together to form a co-presidency. In his speech, Greg stated that he would like to see movies, ping pong, car washes, washes, a farm fest, a winter carnival and he would also like to see the students council financially stable. He also said that he would give the vice-president more responsibility responsibility and power. Ted Brady and Kevin Malik ran for the co-presidency position. They said that, they'd do their best and have fund raising campaigns. They said that they would listen to the students suggestions. They would try to supply students with what they want and they Would keep the students well informed • Brian Hoogkamp and Dan Hopkins both grade 12 students students ran against each other for the position of vice-president. vice-president. Brian said that he would give an honest effort and he would try and raise school spirit. Dan stated that he would like to see a walk-a-thon, a bike-a-thon, and more band dances. At the completion of thef speeches, Paul Quinriey, the k co-president of this year's students council spoke of their accomplishments for this year. A • new constitution for Clarke was introduced as well as flag football and monster ball. A farm fest and a roller skating outing took place.
