William Arnold Miller of Orono passed away at Bowm- anville Memorial Hospital on July 22nd, 1976. - Born in Manvers Township on October 9, 1899, Mr. Miller moved in 1953 to Orono from the farm he operated. He was employed by the Ontario Department of Highways until until his retirement in 1970. He was • a member of OronO United Church, and Orono Masonic Lodge No. 325, A.F: & A.M. He is survived by his wife, the former Ona Cochrane, and two sisters, Mrs. E. B. MILLER Duvall (Mona), Leskard, ana~ Mrs: L, Halfyard (Audrey) of Barrie. He was predeceased, by a sister, Mrs. Suttle Pritchard (Flossie) and two brothers Howard and Orme. Mr, Miller rested at the Barlow Funeral Home, Orono, Orono, and a Masonic service was held Sunday evening. Rev. Basic Long conducted the service on Monday at the Lang Memorial Chapel, Orono. Orono. The many beautiful floral tributes reflected the esteem in which Mr. Miller was held by friends and family. Interment Interment was at the Orono Cemetery. The Newcastle Lions club with this parade in the Village celebrated their 30th. year of Newcastle. The above displays their float. The Regional councillor from the Town of Newcastle was refused a brief submitted to the Regional Planning Committee by Eldorado Nuclear Nuclear Ltd.
