Mr. Simroek of the Ministry of Culture and Recreation outlined the available grants from his Ministry and pointed out that the Ministry would clear all grants quickly under the circumstances. It was also pointed out at the meeting that if the engineers would term the building safe after possible bracing the Ministry would agree. The possibility of bracing is being looked into by the Society so that the fair could make use of the building for the 1976 edition of the Orono Fair. The question was also asked if the building could be torn down to make use of the ice surface for winter recreation. recreation. This country's premiere auto race, the Labatt's 50 Grand Prix of Canada, returns to Mosport Park on Sunday, October 3rd after a one-year absence. It is Canada's only Formula One race, and is 14th of 16 events held world-wide to determine the World Driving Championship. The race brings the world's finest drivers such as two time world champion Emerson Fittipaldi of Brazil, American Mario Andretti, Jody Scheck- ter of South Africa, and Britain's James Hunt, together together with the world's finest racing machinery such as Ferrari, Lotus, McLaren, Surtees and Tyrrell.
