Kendal Eagles eliminate Beeton team two straight •/ Kendal Eagles eliminated Beeton in their first round of G.B.A.splày-oifs this past, weekend as they defeated them by scores of 7-5 and 7-3. On Saturday, in, Beeton, Eric Moore picked up the victory as Kendal outhit Beeton by a 9-6 count. Steve West, Fraser Wallace, and Bill : Robinson were Rendais leading hitters as' each had two hits. The Royals in the first game took a 11-3 win with Gary Cox pitching. Gary gave up a scant four hits and stroke out "thirteen. Dewit Searle rang up three hits while two each went to L. Pears, Jim Jenkins and Gary Cox. ■ In the second game of the series played in Kendal Sunday the Royal took the game 10-4 with Bill Bickle on the mound for the Kendal crew. The Royals have now advanced to the semi-finals with their first game in this series being slated for Monday afternoon in Kendal commencing at 2:00 p.m. The Royals will either face Langton or Dundas in this series.
