Enrollment increase at Durham College MORE CLASSIFIED With full registration stilfto be completed, total daytime enrollment at Durham College College is up 8.6 per cent from last year. To date 1136 students have enrolled in the College's programs in Business Business iand Applied Arts, Health Sciences and Technology. At this time last year, enrollment enrollment stood at 1046. Wants Permission from Council Mr. Larry Parker of Toronto Toronto seeking to build his own home on the boundary line of Newcastle and Hope Township Township asked permission from council to allow him to build a temporary auxiliary building in which hé could live while building his permanent home. He said he could not get a permit for his permanent home until he had proper plans and this could take some time. In the meantime? he would like to erected a temporary building on his some forty arces in the former Township of Clarkè. Counc. Entwisle suggested that the applicant have his lawyer draft an affidavit in which he would agree to vacate the temporary building building within twelve months. Mr. Parker said this would suit him just fine,' • Mayor Rickard stated that they should first dfeal with the * permanent building and when , all approvals were given then deal with the temporary situation.
