May 18th ■ 1 The ' Ministry of Natural Resources announces the following following timetable for the summer season in Ontario's provincial parks. Most provincial parks will be operating with full services services by May 18 in southern Ontario and by June 1 in Northern Ontario (above the French and Mattawa Rivers). On those dates, at least a portion of each park will have all park facilities such as running water, comfort stations stations and electricity, available available to visitors. Ministry parks officials point out that even before the official summer season begins, begins, anyone may visit a provincial park, even though . facilities may be minimal at the time. In some cases, visitors may find the road into the park gated to prevent . vehicle entry, but visitors are ' Festival. Congratulations are welcome to enter on foot. certainly in order since these Members of the Pines choir and music course travelled to Peterborough last week to compete in the Kiwanis students and Mrs. Charmaine Prole had difficulty in obtaining obtaining necessary practice time due to the janitorial strike still in progress. The above photo shows the members of the choir which is made of students in grades, six, seven and eight. The choir came first with an eighty-four percent average.
