President Isabelle Challice conducted the service and introduced the guest speaker, Miss Martha Veldhuis of Dundas, Ontarjo and the soloist, Mrs' Jane Boyd, South Mountain, Ontario. The scripture lesson was read by Mr. Lawrence Staples. The beautiful flowers donated donated for the service were delivered in the afternoon to the sick and shut-ins. Miss Veldhuis is a gifted public speaker and her inspiring inspiring message, which she entitled, "The First Fruit", was particuarly appropriate for the occasion. The solo number was sung beautifully by Mrs. Jane Boyd, a neice of one of the executive members of the Horticultural Society, Mrs. Ann Evans.
